Last night I tried these burgers and they are same as KFC. I want to share this recipe with you all. Try it and do give your comments. Image is taken from internet. Here is recipe for zinger burger by chef zakir.
Ingredients Of Zinger Burger
- 2 chicken breast thin slices
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup corn flour
- ½ cup rice flour
- 2 tb.s baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1ts salt
- 1ts black pepper
- 1ts white pepper
- 4tb.s mayonnaise
- 4 slices cheese
- 2 leaves lettuce
- Oil for frying
- 2 burger buns
Method Of Zinger Burger
- Mix flour, corn flour, rice flour and baking powder and put them a side.
- Apply salt, black and white pepper on chicken’s breast both sides.
- Beat egg with salt, black and white pepper.
- Now apply egg on breast pieces and then coat them in flours, again apply egg and flour(you have to do a double coating)
- Heat the oil, deep fry the breast pieces on medium heat. Cover them with lid while frying.
- Apply mayonnaise on each side of bun, then put chicken, lettuce leave, and cheese slice. Finish it with other piece of bun on top.
Tip: add salt in flours, this will make the coating more tasty.

hi! tried this recipe it was good and near to the orginal one we find in resturants. but i think Baking powder in it that is 2 tbs is too much. it should lessen than that………………. becoz i had to double the quantity of dry batter after first piece fry as that tasted sour. then the rest were gone okay…..

im am a qualified and professional chef and i have worked in kfc for 5 months, so i want to tell you all that this is a wrong recepie of kfc zinger. some ingredients are missing and we never use egg for the coating of zinger burger.

this recipe is given by very famous chef of pakistn….chef zakir. It is obviuos that no one knows the real ingredients of Kfc but we can at least try to make like it. So if you worked there so many years so why dont you share your recipe here with all of us.

Isn’t the premise of a “zinger” burger is its kick of spice? Only spice here is Pepper. That along with a google image of the kfc zinger burger forces me to lose all trust before even I begin this recipe.

its baking powder which is used in baking cakes, its easily available everwhere. baking soda is different

i tried recepie with maida floor and corn floor that was okay ..i will try this for improvement . some bread crums also available in market for coating.
i mention one thing in restaruent they have proper deep fri machine
so its better if you use pan like karahi than it should be half filled with oil at least for deep fri..other wise one side touch in base
